x9 sessions mostly in the cold barn as it’s been slashing wet grey for months up here in Scotland, too grey. No wonder I stuck to pumpkins for 3 weeks, drawing, painting, printing, inking. The occasional dead pheasant, partridge and fish head prompted great spontaneous images, each time building on our perspectives and volumes and shadows. Was fun looking at ellipses in the festive 17C still life finale.
